@Colonelmustardseed You can still be one. My dad was forty when I was born.

@Lostpoet I had a hysterectomy. That ship has sailed. Which is fine because I have a lot of personal healing to do. Besides, I don’t know how much longer I’ll be around. Not fair to a kid to have such an unhealthy parent who might not be around for their whole childhood.

@Colonelmustardseed Your health is improving though right?: I thought it was from your posts and you can always adopt later in life if you feel like you want to have kids.

@Lostpoet Some things are improving, but it’s still stage IV.
Adoption might be an option someday, but not any time soon. I’d have to be healthy, and I’d have to be absolutely certain that I’m emotionally and mentally healed enough to be a good mother. As of right now, I’d make a terrible one.
