So, I've been invited to join a Discord game of D&D. I received the invite because one of the members is somebody I used to hang out with on PlayStation Home before they shut that down. Unfortunately, he and I have drifted to very different ends of the political spectrum, or maybe we were always there and didn't know it. He's far right and calls himself centrist, while having some pretty hot transphobic takes, on my other things.
Enough background. On to the dream.
In the dream, I joined the audio channel on the Discord app, and someone brought up politics, from a far-right homophobic perspective. I don't even remember the specific details of what the guy said, but he did what right wing fashies love to do in these discussions, which is to start monologuing confidently and quickly while spouting so much BS that you can't debunk them in real time. I naturally began losing my temper, because that's exactly what such tactics are designed to do. It ended up with the owner of the chat kicking me out.
Not a nightmare, you say. Well, maybe not, but it felt pretty prophetic.
