The Night Rod Serling Wrote My Nightmare
**I wrote this in another thread, wanted to share with you yet another messed up thing my mind did.**
I once had a massive anxiety dream that had me as a passenger in a small plane, experiencing the POV(Point-of-view) of the pilots. I witnessed them having some kind of issue staying up, beginning their violent plummet downward, which I felt, and both of them were crying out for dear life as various alarms beeped and bonged. The plane shook side-to-side, and I could hear metal tearing and glass breaking as the fuselage noisily squealed and roared, dropping like a boulder through the night air.
I woke up, completely f-ing freaked out, right before they hit.
To bring me back into reality, I turned on the TV. It was the Yankee game, in a big timeout. Apparently, an umpire had been injured by a baserunner and was being taken to the hospital.
Across the bottom of the screen, words crawled from left to right: "STAY TUNED FOR ALL THE LATEST ON THE COMMUTER PLANE CRASH ON THE 11 O CLOCK NEWS".
I turned white as a ghost. I didn't sleep. It took me a while to process that one.
