I had the weirdest dream

I was a teen and I was staying with a woman who was supposed to be my grandmother, and a bunch of other kids/teens. The house was weird because big areas were blocked off, and we weren’t allowed near those spaces— or to do much of anything at all out of her sight.

At one point she left the main room we were all always in, and I went in to the kitchen (where we were allowed to be only with her). I opened the cabinet under the sink in search for glass cleaner to clean my glasses, but when I opened it I could see through to a part of the house that was blocked off. I could hear banging and muffled talking/crying, but could see nothing but an empty dining room with a door that I guessed led to the basement. I watched as the door started to open and quickly closed the cabinet doors and snuck back to the living room. She came into the living room soon after and made sure we were all accounted for before going to the kitchen. I was terrified she would know I was in there… I woke up before I could see what would happen next.

It was bizarre, like watching a movie.
