had a lucid dream earlier today

I had a lucid dream earlier today. But strangely I don't remember many of the details anymore. I wish I wrote it down when I just woke up. Now I've had lucid dreams before, but this one was a bit different. In the past I often woke up quickly from my dreams when I suddenly realized it was a dream. This one lasted longer after I realized I was dreaming. And I wanted to change the dream because some people who report lucid dreaming claim they can just change it. I couldn't do that and was a bit disappointed. Also it felt like I had to remind myself that I was dreaming, cause at one point I almost forgot or rather that I was becoming less conscious again.
