Finding peace alone.

This dream I’ve had since I was a child. Wishing to belong with someone. The resulting loneliness is my greatest source of pain, but for that reason, it gives my life so much meaning. I’m lucky to have it. I could not know the love I do now if I had been able to control this outcome. That would make it pointless.

The inherent freedom everyone possesses is the one thing making their love worthwhile. Being able to choose proves merit. There is no significance in a world without choice. This makes their love so valuable that I could spend the rest of my days without it, yet happy all the same that it’s protected. What they do only matters because they’re free. For that I’ll endure anything.

then what difference does it make to you whether there is freedom of choice or not?

you are correct in your observation... variations within a cycle. variations exist. within a cycle. within a certain coordinate system.

metaphorical spatial model...

Imagine spheres nested in each other. the properties of the outer spheres determine the rules for the spheres nested in them. each sphere has its own level of consciousness.

you live in one of the nested spheres. the understanding available to you is defined and limited by the consciousness of that sphere. you cannot consciously perceive the outer sphere. for your consciousness, the outer sphere simply will not exist, although it is the outer sphere that creates you and your consciousness.

you are free within your sphere, because you do not perceive the strict limitations imposed on you by the properties of the outer sphere.

you are not free from the source of your existence. from the properties of the external sphere, which is your source of being.

now you can answer your own question.

Thankyou for that explanation. And now i see where you meant we are limited, and i agree.

But i must admit that i ponder, since existence of consciousness isnt limited by physical reality, nor time/space, maybe, just maybe, we arent limited by this dimensional reality we are 'born' into .
And thus, see beyond our 'reality' our bodies are stuck in - giving us greater perception to make choices.

I mean, if consciousness is a cycle, its 'life' is therefore infinitely longer than a mere human lifespan.

So if one could gain experience or knowledge from higher planes, it could change ones perspective from getting wrapped up in inconsquential battles, to focus on the bigger picture of the war so to speak: thus, perhaps, giving one a better freedom of choice.

Which i know youre prolly gonna say isnt a freedom of choice at all, its more just levelling up to a whole new set of limitations set within a higher reality 😅....which it is.

But surely more freedom is better than less, even if it isnt complete.🤷‍♀️

Your post is confusing. Free will is an illusion. Idk what u mean by "there is no significance without choice". How does love fit into this? Many ppl's choices lead them to a life in hell. Nobody is free!
