Do you feel lonely?

My life has drastically improved over the last few years and I'm not particularly "alone" because I have friends I can talk to but I still feel lonely. Throughout today I switched my phone off just to have some peace and escape from everyone. Weird that I needed to do that. And then the loneliness set in. I don't even know what I'm saying at this point, just needed to let it all out
