Do you feel lonely?

My life has drastically improved over the last few years and I'm not particularly "alone" because I have friends I can talk to but I still feel lonely. Throughout today I switched my phone off just to have some peace and escape from everyone. Weird that I needed to do that. And then the loneliness set in. I don't even know what I'm saying at this point, just needed to let it all out

Sometimes I wonder about that too. It's like things are great and you're blessed and you should be happy, and yet you're lonely.

I guess the reason is because we feel like we're in dire need of something...a void that none of those things/people we have could fill. Maybe it's because they really can't. Or maybe it's because we don't let them. Who knows anymore?

@Casheyane exactly, I know how much I longed for the life I have now, but now that I have it, it doesn't feel like a big deal and I feel far from fulfilled. I actually feel more stressed/uncomfortable.
