Ever feel so lonely it's soul crushing?

I spend all my time alone except for when I have to go to the market for groceries. I have no friends . I moved here a year ago due to the xhusbands job, then he left me 2 weeks after I got here..hence the x.

I've spent my entire life that way. It doesn't get better. You'll burn yourself out trying to do it all alone. I would work on that

@carnivalofcrazy Same. I'm at a point now where I just can't bring myself to face that disappointment again. I got a dog, which makes a world of difference, and I'm just going to try to ride it out with her for the foreseeable future

There are a lot of online resources though that may help. I've heard people recommend Meetup and Bumble as possible solutions for introverts. I haven't had success with it, but I didn't put enough faith to see it through. There are some people that would swear by it
