What have you enjoyed the most about living alone?

I've been separated since September and now that things aren't hurting so much I'm realizing just how much I LIKE living with just ME and my pets. It's so peaceful. There's NO judgement.
It's only been a few months but I don't know if I want to share my home with another person again.

Yes..My wife went into dememtia care in January. I was in shock for a while. Totally cast adrift in a big house. And I wont pretend it was fun dealing with her decline over about 10 years. But I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and it isnt an oncoming train. Getting a couple of long postponed health and maintainance issues worked out and I will extend my range and go see a few things we never did..My wifes reality means she doesnt miss me any more or less if I visit every day or once a month. (Which I know because right now I walk with a frame and cant drive)..😷
