I can't find the story right now, but this reminds me of a story when some guys tries to rob an extremely old lady, I believe in NYC, where guns are hard to have legally.

But they selected to try to rob the wrong grandma. This grandma was granddaughter of some infamous crime boss, and a longtime extremely active member of one of the 3 gun ranges in NYC, and she was packing and prepared to defend herself.

The perpetrator is lucky that he can talk about that
