Aerospace engineer, then a pilot.
For military and space projects.


Realized I'd rather ride them than build them, and pursued a career as a commercial pilot for an airline.
A military flying career was also an interest.

Attended flight academy, then 9/11 happened.


Jobs weren't there. So I entered a different industry.


With time and maturity, I eventually realized the precarious nature of a flying career. I talked to a lot of pilots, ex-pilots, colleagues and business owners.

The takeaway was that Aviation as an industry, demanded unquestioning allegiance, & sacrifice; but gave nothing back to its people---and felt it owed them nothing. It simply kept asking for more.

In short -- I dodged a silver bullet.

To be an obedient cog in the machine. That's why I struggle with society and the concept of work now. I refuse to be what I was trained to be but I'm not really prepared to be something better.

I was just surviving. Then got to adulthood and kept on having to do the same.

Now that things have evened out a bit, I have absolutely no idea what to do anymore.

Dallas cowboy cheerleader then a flight attendant until I found out planes crash and I developed anxiety over flying, then I wanted to be a social worker and my uncle talked me out of it.

I had a multitude of imterests, art, mudic, science. It was only in my last year of high school when medicine became top if the list.

I probably spent most of my time preparing to be an athlete.
