I seen a video of a older man and he was asked how he made it work for his family with one income. His family had to sacrifice a lot. They didn't have a big fancy house. The kids had to share room's. His wife all was did the cooking at home. They never ate at restaurants at all. Since she did the cooking they never had tv dinners or frozen meals. His kids never had electronics like today. If they was bored they went outside to play. His TV only had like 3 channels. They didn't have cells phones and only one vehicle that he paid for with cash.

As you get older, there are many factors to consider. Sometimes friendship and companionship may work out with two compatible persons, if both wants same arrangement. That can be a relationship with caring and yet having own personal freedom.
There are many people like us, who don’t want to settled lifestyle, even though it is not perfect.

You need a neighbor to visit with, and who will bring you casseroles and such. They would have their own home and income.

I bet there are people who would want that arrangement.

@FoxyQueen I think a woman would be good, a man might be always trying to get in your pants. Or a guy that is no longer interested in sex.

@JimboSaturn Well, that is why I said "my person". That person would be the right amount of everything that I like.
