Growing up, my parents always taught me to say "thank you" and "you're welcome" to people. Why doesn't the younger generation seem to do that anymore

I know people always complained about the youth of the day but there's seriously a lack of over all social skills in a lot of kids today.
Interaction is just being changed and in many cases denied from the interwebz.

I don't think kids are ruder than they were when we were kids just people don't really interact socially the same way anymore and it reflects more in the youth.

@MethDozer Interesting. I didn't think about it that way, but it's true.
