No, thank goodness.
My friend once told me as a kid she heard "odd" sounds coming from her parents’ room. She knocked on their door (thankfully her parents had locked it).
Her mother said, "Nothing’s wrong, don’t worry. Your dad was just trying to get comfortable."

Then years later I realized what was going on, and, tries to quietly sneak down stairs.

I had to go by their bedroom to get to the stairs.

Lucky they ALMOST always locked the door when they were busy... (ALMOST always)

I wouldn't have made adulthood if I didn't knock on that door and wait to be invited in.
