All Good Things Must Come To An End
And in the end there won’t be a stone that bears my name.
And that’s well enough for me.
Because I don’t have anyone that would come by bearing flowers or staring at a stone that bore my name and felt any type of loss or regret.
And maybe that’s my fault?
Maybe it was simply my choices that led me here into oblivion?
But none of it matters.
For soon the wind can sweep my ashes across the world and make it as though I never existed.
Therein lies my destiny.
Therein lies my peace.
