When you see me in weakness or downfall and it seems like my ending, it is only the turning of the way. Like a leaf that falls, I am returning to feed the very roots that bore me. The sun still summons me upward, and the heavens bend low pouring their light into me.

In descent, when I seem most broken, I am nourishing the ground from which I rise. My stem climbs because of the earth. My branches defy both storm and silence, the visible and invisible alike. They defy time and they defy place.They defy roles.

There is greatness in being sustained, and greatness in return.

The changing seasons are but one season giving birth to itself again ; one cycle of the earth around the sun. And while it gives birth to itself, it must be sustained by change, by death, and by life. We are all seasons birthing ourselves again but not alone.

So do remember this!

You are my earth, my roots, the hidden will beneath me and around me. And so long as you hold me, I will always grow. Wherever you wish my shadow to fall, there shall be shelter for you. Whenever you desire my bloom, there shall be beauty for you..

I am because of you, and I endure because of you. And I exist because of you, and will exist because of you and will endure because of you even when I return to be reborn again.
