Are these the end times?

I'm not religious, not a 'believer' but seeing what is happening in the world it is difficult not to think we're long past the point of no return, and seeing the end of our civilization if not our species.

It would take far more than what's happening now to wipe out humans. It's not really that bad yet.

@helenS Life of humans can come to an end earlier but that can happen randomly. With an event completely unrelated to what's happening in the world right now.

@CrazyMusicLover ... a comet impact event, for example, or an epoch of super volcano eruptions. Although I personally believe that nature will not get rid of us. In a sense, we (as humans) transcend natural history, and biological evolution.
