I just watched a tiktok of a girl mixing boiled green beans, condensed mushroom soup & crispy onions together & calling that a side dish.

& I'm starting to wonder if it's actually a bit that you've all kept going for a couple of hundred years because this can't be reality, I refuse to believe it!

Can’t help you, I’m English born and raised, and thought it strange to have Christmas dinner twice in one month, but that was then. Now, I love Thanksgiving dinner, although I don’t cook it myself. Since I no longer have my husband to cook a delicious Thanksgiving meal, I go without, or buy something cooked from the grocery store. The green bean bake is delicious. I’ve never made it myself.
