Nah, people have died he should face the consequences.

@InOtterWords Thinking ahead, we may have an "OJ" scenario here.. I doubt the burden of proof would go beyone reasonable doubt in the case of the deaths during the rioting..However Trumps exhortations to the crowd were a massive trigger. So on the balance of probabilities he may be liable for Damages in each case.. Something he cannot be pardoned for😷

@whowasthatmaskedman nor should he be pardoned for it.
Personally, I am not shocked by how he has behaved. He has created such a massive divide in the country ...and tbh, I do not think he is done yet.
What happened at the Capitol can be likened to the Sumner incident where there was a breakdown of reasonable discourse....and we all know what that led to.

Exaggerations like that often cause trouble not the subject that is being exaggerated. @InOtterWords

@InOtterWords I think he is oblivious to the damage he is doing to the nation. Its always about him. Not anything else. As for pardons. They are reserved for criminal proceedings. The Damages suit that caught up with OJ was a civil case, nor criminal.

@whowasthatmaskedman half the population is oblivious!

@jackjjackson where is the exaggeration? Sumner was just assaulted, here 5 people were killed?
