We all like the idea of being rich. But in reality, is being rich really that great? Without money as your motivation, bc you’re so rich you dont need

it, what is your motivation to get up and out of bed everyday?.. Sure -now our “poor selves” are like “ well I don’t need to get out of bed. I don’t have to work. I can do what want.” But there would be a day where doing nothing doesn’t seem so fun anymore, and having too many options may make everything seem dull. Is being rich really all that great? Would it eventually feel like a trap? What would you do everyday as a rich person to stay motivated?

You're looking at money as a goal.

It is the only way you would lose motivation. You have achieved your end goal.

But money is a means that can fulfill plenty of goals and endless possibilities.

I have lived poor as dirt and I have lived well off. I prefer not having personal financial problems. I can focus on other aspects of my life besides the silly basics like paying bills and sudden death because I can't afford the medication for my tachycardia.
