anyone want to help me dream about starting like a commune to help battle homelessness

i was thinking about it lol. id rather live in my own house with a a big fence. but i thought still a worthy use of brain power to think about what it would take to start a commune to help battle homelessness.

youd need: land, dwellings, water, air conditioning lol, a food source... what else?
acceptable toilets in the dwellings. electricity would be nice

I'm definitely onboard. You will need enough land to achieve a certain level of self-sufficiency, assuming that at least some of the residents will have difficult assimilating with mainstream society.

I dream daily about buying a huge house to look after 10-12 children with no homes of their own.
