I was practically accused of stealing and yelled at during a drugstore experience...

I put the things I was buying on the counter, and the cashier asked me if I needed anything else. I didn't know what to say to her since I put everything out for her to ring up. I suppose it was just something for her to say, but the way she said it, it made me think either I was holding something back or she thought I was. Surprisingly, I stood there silently and awkwardly, and she practically yelled at me and with a loud sigh said, "don't strain yourself," and rang everything up. I paid and she seemed like I had burdened her.

I left and still feel like maybe there could have been a better way to handle that whole encounter. But I'm not sure. Her sarcastic remark really created a lot of unnecessary tension.
