An experience

When I was a little girl, before I could form any sort of character or personality or view or opinion, I remember my dad calling me an arsehole and telling me that he loved me, but he didn't like me. He didn't just say it once, he said it repeatedly throughout my childhood. It set a precedent and left me vulnerable and open to predators, for many years. In fact, it's not something you ever get over really. But I'm stronger now and have a strong radar for certain types of people, types of men mostly.
