Is it still possible to change your mind after reading someone's opinion?

Are we just stuck in our ideological rut?

Of course! But depending of how deep I have that belief or opinion , it might take more than one instance or just one different opinion. But if it is an issue that I don’t feel that strongly about or have not formed an opinion about it for so long, i think it is very easy to change my mind when I listen to different opinions that make sense.

I think so, but I've mainly changed my opinions by talking to and learning from others. Reading an opinion might help, but I usually need that interaction to really change how I think about something.

It's possible for me. Even if it doesn't change my mind, it broadens it at least. Understanding gives me peace.
It really depends upon the topic. My opinions based upon my personal experiences are less changeable.

I am changing my mind all the time.. but I also have some core beliefs that are harder to change, especially in subjects distilled for long

If it wasn’t possible to change our minds, manipulation wouldn’t work so well in this world.
