EDIT: I remember my parents got a "baby bonus" from the gov't of $8 per month for me in the 1950s !!

@rinkydinkydoink Yes, oh yes. You can scarcely take a breath, let alone inflate your tires but there's a tax or charge applied.

They call it progress, but seems we're regressing with every decade.

In too many ways we're regressing... the rich get richer; the poor get poorer with the assistance of rules and laws developed by the rich.

For all the pledges to clean up governance, the old guard has never left.
