I'm so old I remember when carnivals still featured freak shows.

EDIT: I remember my parents got a "baby bonus" from the gov't of $8 per month for me in the 1950s !!

I’m so old I remember when schools never planned sports or any other social events on Wednesday or Sunday, because of prayer meeting and church.

@rinkydinkydoink Nope, although there WAS one. All the schools in our area and I suspect there were many more. NW Pennsylvania.
