Anyone have any personal creepy stories?

When I was younger and didn't know the local roads, I got lost once and ended up in a town called Salem (I knew because of the sign at the edge of the town when entering it). All I remember from it was some biker bar and an intersection that used a stop light that was so old I wondered how it was still even functioning, and it was lit up by what looked like an actual lightbulb like you would find in someone's table lamp. Nothing else about the place was remarkable, just a sparsely populated small town.

I ended up finding my way home thanks to the handy Google Maps on my phone.

But I looked it up later and there are no towns around here called Salem. I mean this was over a decade ago, I've looked on maps, and I've told people this story. Nobody including myself knows of any place around here that goes by that name.

I think I traveled through a portal or something. 😅
