It's nasty as hell, but apparently it's the closest thing we've come to replicating the taste of sugar.

@DavidScottBianchet The problem is that sugar is one of the few naturally occurring sweet things that isn't a poison. That's why we have the capacity to taste sweet things, to tell if something is poisonous.
