@CrazyMusicLover Great answer ! Makes sense. In my case, I see thru ppl very easily. They always behaved like they "were doing it for my benefit" but it was about them. Very rarely they truly cared..

@Graciemac654 I had a medical condition for which I suffered for 1.5 yr without knowing what it was. I had no money to even get all those tests done. Finally when I took a loan for my brother's education, I got it checked and had to go thru a surgery.


In that 1.5 yr (believe it or not) I used to howl in pain crying catching my stomach during my cycles begging my mother to take me to the hospital, I will pay with whatever little I have. Not the right time to get revenge but for all the times I didn't help her with cooking, she took her chance and refused to take me to the hospital. It was her way of getting back. Even today there are times when I am unable to help her with cooking and house work, she has retired, I have to travel far for work plus over time. I help her on the weekends when I am off from work. There is no understanding between us. I am an official idiot. I am 35, not willing to get married bcoz I want to help her financially. My boss has empathy for me. He tells me, "It's time to be selfish".
