I know you had plans to hang out with someone and shopping was a reason(excuse to get out). But People are flaky I wouldn’t let them waste my time to wait on their call. Always do you! Just get out/be out anyways, go to the gym, go to the bar, go shopping at the mall and if they call, great, if not at least you didn’t waste time waiting for them. You might meet other people at the bar (food) and gym.

I wouldn’t expect anything from anyone without building a rapport I can count on. A good history of us going out.

Also, She may have been expecting you to call, even though she said she would.

The Human Condition my friend. We're not robots (some are), nor are we built the same (some are). Empathy vs Apathy with a touch of Antipathy thrown in to really toss your marbles around and dislike human social interactions forever, or until the next individual skips along towards you and it all repeats itself all over.

But, you are more the wiser for it and also is your emotional IQ. Just as long as you allow yourself grow along with it, those "stonks" will keep rising.

Does that make sense? 20 years ago before I married and started having children (gawd I can't believe my oldest is going to be 21 in a couple weeks), I never would have said anything like that, but you live and you learn. 🫡😉

@Levenrack Thanks :) She's normally reliable on things like this but not this time. Oh well, I'm over it now.

@KiwiDan There you go. And, now she owes you.. hehe 😉
That happened to me once, when a woman in my apt complex suggested we take a drive to local pueblos and specifically an art museum there.

She didn’t call or show up. I texted her, “Are we still on for taking a drive?” No answer.

I texted her again, joking, “Don’t you love me anymore?”

I got a response, from a guy, saying, “I don’t know who you are, but you’re effing up my birthday.”

Wrong number texted. He was married and his wife was MAD. I offered to talk to her and apologized, but no joy.

I probably caused a divorce.
@KiwiDan Cell phones should be categoried as weapons.

@Mamapolo2016 they definitely should be after that!
@KiwiDan You know how good intentions pave the road to hell.

@ExperienceDLT It's OK. I wrote this yesterday and didn't post it until today because I somehow saved it as a draft instead of posting it. I'm over it now.
