Everyone has their own love language and if you don’t talk to each other about what you need to feel loved moments like this happen. Talk to him. Tell him how you feel. Find out what he needs to feel loved and then tell him what makes you feel loved. Talk, negotiate find common ground to meet on. Most likely you are doing things for him that are what you feel everyone needs because it is what you need. He is most likely doing the same. He may have left you to yourself when you were sick because that is what he would want. You won’t know until you talk to each other.
