My long walks with my music streaming into my ears. It's just so peaceful where I live that walking the fields listening to a bit of Phil Collins can make you think you're not even on Earth or among Humanity anymore.

@AngelicGracieLynd it’s really funny or something so simple like music can take us somewheres else. Make a smile make us cry make us think it’s nice I get what you’re saying.

@AngelicGracieLynd That’s beautiful. I love Phil Collins. And I love to read books or play video games where I can lose myself into that universe, pretend I’m there instead.

@AngelicGracieLynd I grew up with Phil Collins great bands like Styx April Wine Rolling Stones with all the music up today. I always find myself going back there driving in my truck down at all gravel road. That’s what I put on.

@DHggmu Thanks. And I exactly agree. I don't get to read many books with my time tables as they are but video games are too an escape for me. The Sims, Mass Effect, Dead Rising; a ton of games either serve as stress relief from a hard day or just an escape from our reality and into theirs. ☺️

@AngelicGracieLynd no, I get ya it’s nice to just escape for me. I find that in music my life is so busy music does that for me I’m a big fan of lots of older music I like Coldplay for music does that for me I don’t play video games but I know an old country Road good music my dog my fishing rod is never a bad day.

@AngelicGracieLynd I had an obsession with the sims 4 last year, when I discovered mods, the Mass Effect series is my favourite game series, that or Dragon Age and Red Dead Redemption 2.. I don’t get to read or play much anymore tbh, always busy working, but I try to get a little of both in every day, it’s the perfect escape :)
Funlov · M
@AngelicGracieLynd and I might even bring a six pack of cold beer lol
AngelicGracieLynd · 18-21, F
@Funlov I love older music too. Reading your comment and seeing country road just made me think of "Country Roads, Take Me Home."; I love Dream Lover, Runaway... A few Elvis hits and tons more. My playlist is overloaded with 600 songs, I'm thankful for the randomised option so each day is different on my walks.

I've never been fishing myself; last time I was on a lake it was in a sinking boat so that kinda put me off near water activities unless it's swimming. ☺️
AngelicGracieLynd · 18-21, F
@DHggmu Agreed. I love Red Dead Redemption 2 too especially at night because the stars biome that Rockstar put in that game is so beautiful and realistic. ☺️
Funlov · M
@AngelicGracieLynd that’s a John Denver song country Roads take me home. He was a great folk singer died in a plane accident. but yes, a lazy Saturday or Sunday. It’s a good day. Think we all should take more of them I’m trying trying to get better at flyfishing. I’m not very good at it but there’s just something peaceful about it radio in the background out of my truck, cold beer, my dog, that’s a good day no cops lol
AngelicGracieLynd · 18-21, F
@Funlov Hehe. I wouldn't know anything about that. I'm a Pepsi and Water drinker through and through. But if that's what builds your dream escape, then good on ya. ☺️
DHggmu · 31-35, M
@AngelicGracieLynd I love RPGs because I can just completely lose myself in them, but Red Dead 2 is probably my all time favourite, I love everything about that game and it looks beautiful.
Funlov · M
@AngelicGracieLynd warm day cold beer work hard all week that’s a good day Sunday afternoon I’m not talking drunk just a beer or two lol
AngelicGracieLynd · 18-21, F
@DHggmu Same. I've even sunk 200+ hours in Persona 5 which is a JRPG. Such an awesome game, takes severe dedication but I love it.
DHggmu · 31-35, M
@AngelicGracieLynd Not played that one, maybe it’s one I’ll look into seeing as we seem to have such similar taste :)
AngelicGracieLynd · 18-21, F
@DHggmu I definitely recommend it. It has a beautiful art design, relatable characters, bonkers story but it all ties together amazingly.
DHggmu · 31-35, M
@AngelicGracieLynd If you’ve put that many hours into it then I trust your word :)
AngelicGracieLynd · 18-21, F
@DHggmu Granted, it was 200+ hours because it was two Playthroughs. As it kinda requires that due to there being a hidden story near the end of the game requiring a ton of social stats that can be carried over after the first Playthrough.
DHggmu · 31-35, M
@AngelicGracieLynd Well it’s a good thing I like my games to be long and I don’t mind replaying them if they’re good enough :P
