When you’re feeling down

What cheers you up?
AngelicGracieLynd · 18-21, F
My long walks with my music streaming into my ears. It's just so peaceful where I live that walking the fields listening to a bit of Phil Collins can make you think you're not even on Earth or among Humanity anymore.
DHggmu · 31-35, M
@AngelicGracieLynd If you’ve put that many hours into it then I trust your word :)
AngelicGracieLynd · 18-21, F
@DHggmu Granted, it was 200+ hours because it was two Playthroughs. As it kinda requires that due to there being a hidden story near the end of the game requiring a ton of social stats that can be carried over after the first Playthrough.
DHggmu · 31-35, M
@AngelicGracieLynd Well it’s a good thing I like my games to be long and I don’t mind replaying them if they’re good enough :P
Henal · 26-30, F
Painting/drawing. It doesn’t necessarily cheer me up, but it distracts me from that feeling.
Funlov · M
@DHggmu I do too for you and all of them and I hope they find it and I hope you do even if it’s a little glimpse every day take that and treasure it do something with it you can I believe
DHggmu · 31-35, M
@Funlov Very kind and thoughtful words, thank you, I am trying :)
Funlov · M
@DHggmu can you do something for me just don’t give up on yourself because the moment we give up on ourselves sometimes people around us give up on us, so don’t give up on yourself in the morning. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself it’s gonna be a good day before you head out of the house you can do it.
itsok · 31-35, F

@DHggmu she’s perfect. I just hope I can be good enough for her.
DHggmu · 31-35, M
@DarkHeaven Don’t doubt yourself, from how you talk about her you’re everything she needs and more.
Listening to music and remembering my teenage years.

I think, given anyone's make-up, that may be some individual thing don't you think? For me, it's a walk along the river bed on the back side of my property or....that Atlantic Sea ocean path I walk 20 minutes from my home which grants me solace. Not everyone has that but, this truth is mine as it were.
Freeranger · M
That small nucleus of friends that you value. They're the best.
