If everyone and everything you ever cared about were to disappear forever, would you still want to live?

You cannot replace any of it. Not your family, not your friends, not anything. You now live in a world where all that currently brings you happiness is now gone forever. Is such a life still worth living?

As a generalization man tends to adapt to his circumstances pretty well.
Many folk grow up in care or in care of extended family having never known family or friends. So i guess that's possible.
Quite what it does to your psychological state is a question.
