what you foolin for?

DanielChristensen · 46-50, M
No but I have to spell it for folks a lot who do mess it up. My last name is very common and has many variations of spelling. Think it goes back to the christian conversion of Norway, son of christian. It took a long time to bubble in on school standardized tests too. Other kids were up to question 3 by the time I finished, had to play some catch up! :P
@DanielChristensen: ahahahahahaha! i like ur surname! 👍

Yes. My married last name. 40 years later, I still have to spell it, letter by letter, in my head. My MIL told me the same thing

sometimes I simplify it so others can spell it easily. It has an unusual spelling.
Is it pronounced "bee-on-shay" or "bee-on-kay" ?
SW-User
my username is pronounced bee on ket. It's Italian. but that's not my real last name. It's my grandma's maiden name. My real last name is a weirdly spelled Irish name.
ForeverOnMyGuard · 22-25, F
All the time...for like a month I started typing my name to what it autocorrects to just so I wouldn't have to deal with autocorrect
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
No, but I have forgotten to sign my married name instead of my maiden name...
No. My name Sadee. No wait Sadey. No wait, I think it's Cadee?
Thatguysteve · 31-35, M

No, that I've gotten down. But my mother is still the only one who pronounces it "correctly".
