Somebody said I wouldn’t last a day in the 90s 🤣🤣🤦🏿♀ but honestly, I think it’s just ridiculous. How are you gonna host college kids here but nowhere in town other than on campus can they charge their laptops when eating?
I’ve been to so many areas that I’ve seen business people be able to work on their laptops at McDonald’s even. So really I’m not being ridiculous at all.
The “you wouldn’t last a day in *insert era*” thing is so played out. You would last because you would be under the same societal standards as mostly everyone else. Things change and we are now in an era where technology is really an essential part of everyday left, especially for students. I don’t think your idea of having more access to technology assistance is outlandish, especially if your town advertises that they’re a “college town”. That would imply that they cater to students, which they don’t.
I do understand a business not wanting to absorb the additional energy costs, though. Still, your idea makes sense. Boomers need to chill tf out, I swear
