Somebody just called me judgmental

But it’s like how am I being judgmental? Maybe I’m just built differently. Idk. I feel that parents have a duty to protect their children regardless! It’s different if they aren’t being exposed. But no, if you fail to remove your kids and protect them especially if you know that they’re being exposed, then you should be charged just as the abuser.

you’re making a snap judgement without even understanding the trauma and damage that a victim of abuse carries.

Most of the time victims have tried over and over to leave. Some may even have lost their lives in their attempts. Have some fucking empathy.

@vivicalcifer I think you think I’m blaming abuse victims for not leaving. which is odd because I’ve been in that situation myself. its just there comes a point in time where we need to discuss the impact on the children if they’re being exposed! Because believe it or not, you can have a situation where the kids aren’t being exposed. That was my situation. But then I get on Facebook and I see somebody going to jail because they failed to protect their kids from their abusive boyfriend. They’re both getting charged when she is also a victim
