I tried to help a co-worker and I got yelled at for helping...

I told a co-worker that I didn't think she takes her job seriously and she started yelling at me that I need to get some experience before I start "assessing others." I then tried to smooth things over by saying I was just trying to help, and she went bat-shit crazy and among other things said I was arrogant, condescending, and full of myself and that I seem afraid of social situations. Surprisingly, I literally didn't know what to say and when she tried to mimic me back and said, "I'm just trying to help," my blood was boiling.

I hate when people talk to me about my social skills. I'm pretty good at being social, so I don't even know how they suspect that I might have socializing issues.

@MarkPaul

I have no idea how that YouTube video got there. That's crazy. I didn't know it was there until you replied. I deleted it.

@MoveAlong 🤨 We're still good.... before and after.
I think the lesson to be learned here is don't try to be helpful. Ever. To anyone.

I think you accidentally triggered the Man-hater switch inside that woman.
