I don't know how to relate to people... I guess.

Against my better judgment I went to lunch with a group of co-workers and as we went around the table giving our lunch orders and after I gave mine, the guy sitting next to me said, "Now, can you say that without sounding like a serial killer?" Everyone including the waitress laughed. The guy then put his hand on my shoulder and told me, "Lighten up." That guy is an asshole and not very competent at his job.

Yes, I'm a shy and quiet guy. I don't sound like a serial killer though and I didn't find anything about his comment funny. The waitress wouldn't even look at me each time she came back to the table. She was wearing a short dress and a little waitress apron. I don't think she was very nice though.
