My rights were practically violated on the bus today...
I've been taking the bus more and more for environmental reasons and to do my part. It's not totally inconvenient, but it's not really the most efficient, comfortable, or fastest transportation choice. Ngl, it's a challenge to get on the bus with everyone staring at me when I get on.
Today, I was sitting upfront and after a woman got on, I offered her my seat. The bus driver screamed at me to sit down like I was some middle school student causing trouble on the school bus. I didn't realize there were seats in the back and the woman took a seat there. When my stop came up and I was exiting, the bus driver said I need to remain seated when the bus is moving. I had no idea what to say, so I just got off.
That's so stupid and I didn't appreciate being screamed at. It's probably not worth taking the bus again.
