In social situations, I keep wondering why my intentions are so often misunderstood.
I never seem to get it right, no matter how much time I put into analyzing the situation both before and after each encounter.

Something something overthinking.
People pick up on the most subtle shit, and analyzing situations leads to "scripted" interactions that are just not that comfortable to be in.

@MarkPaul you don't need to know how to be natural. If you struggle to find words or anything you can straight up just nod inquisitively and most people just keep talking.
If people talk to (or at) you long enough you'll pick up on how and what to say to them. I think... I mean that's how I go about it.
