The winter of our discontent among a quiet desperation...

There is talk of another holiday party at work again this year. There is no way I can go through this every year. I thought it was a once in a generation thing last year. If this goes on every year that would be worse than doing team presentations in school and everyone fighting over who gets to cover each part and me not wanting to cover any part even though I did most of the work.

It might as well be the end of the world if this is going to be an every-year event.
