Faulty washing machine

I hate karma, but got a karma payback, as my washing machine is on the blink/kaput/died on me!

So I will be spending the weekend there.

Trouble was my elderly neighbour had the same fault about two weeks ago, he asked if I could take a look at it to fix it and help him with his laundry, lol, I told him "NO" not my problem.
Well, when I asked him for help he told me two words but said he could lend me a spare pair of socks.
