My ex wants to criticize me for my spending habits

But he invested like $5k into his home work out gym and then he sold all of it for like $600 and now he wants another workout gym. Since he wants to be irresponsible with his money, he’s just getting a basketball goal for Christmas and I’m gonna find one USED off of Facebook marketplace for 50 bucks!

The thrift stores are full of used cheap work out equipment.
Just get him a shake weight, a jump rope and those pink plastic dumbbells and tell him he should be proud of all the money you saved.
@Adrift he can put them in his purse

Why exactly is your ex so invested in your spending habbits? Long as you're happy and healthy I feel like you should be good.

I was going to ask, Why are you buying Christmas gifts for a ex ?

Then I saw your response a another comment but personally it still doesn't make much sense to me personally.

Other people’s bad financial decisions are always to be condemned. Mine, however, always have a very reasonable explanation even if they may appear foolish.
I think anyone older can list a bunch of bad investments — part of life I think

Why are you buying Christmas presents for your ex?
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
@DunningKruger good question. It’s because we still have a relationship and we live together and he’s the kid’s dad.

@TurtlePink Ah, I see. I guess.
