Let's face it, being social on a "normal" level is not easy for me. I don't think the solution is any kind of therapy though.
I just need to work through it.
Related... I was in the gym and noticed the guy who, a couple of months ago, forced me into telling him my name and who now calls me out to say hello, was making his way over to where I was. So, I left the gym to avoid that massive intrusion. I went back to the gym a few hours later.
This may have not been the BEST solution, but it did solve the problem in the moment.
