An encounter on the elevator...

I nodded and said hello to a girl/woman in the elevator, and she smiled back. After all that work and effort, she didn't say anything; she just giggled and that kind of turned me off. When she got off on her floor, she looked back and said bye. I just waved goodbye as the door closed.

I'm not sure being a gentleman is giving me any payoff.
