Why are European schools so different from American schools?

Apparently in Europe, they don’t have high school graduations. They just walk out the door like it’s a normal day how sad and depressing.

We have graduation parties but not like yours. (not ceremonies, I meant) but yes they give out the diplomas, and we have a celebration. At least Balkan people.
