The charge would be always be an inconspicuous figure like $39.95 & $49.95 maybe Once to Twice a month. Deciding to get rid of my card altogether and just use Cash.
Bank will issue new card, still all records will follow from old card (verified with rep.). Bank will cover Losses only for the last 90 days.
Will stop all, Continuous subscriptions as I don't know if all info is secure on every subscibed site.
You don't have an alert in your phone telling you when your card is used ? My bank is pretty good about catching things I've been with the same bank for 14 years and I have never used my credit card to buy gas ( I have a gas credit card for that) so apparently someone cloned it a few years ago, the bank caught it immediately. They said it was because it was used at a gas pump and they don't show me ever even once doing that. So they knew something was wrong. So they asked me are you in some small town that I've never been to or heard of, trying to buy gas? I said no! why ?they said that someone is using your card right now. I looked in my purse the card was there. I said I have my card right here! So they immediately turned the card off and sent me a new one. The person was trying to charge $ 300 for gasoline smh
i had that happen to me too but it was at 89 cents, then 1.98 and it got to 4.98. the bank did the same thing to me too. i didn't catch them within 6 months
@Iwillwait tried looking back to 2023 and didnt find any places I usually don't go to. Its still a mystery to me, maybe one of the workers, I dont know (argh).
