So, I did take the bus again...
So, I took the bus again after the last altercation I had and it was really a non-event. It was quite routine and somewhat enjoyable. I don't know why I got worked up over nothing... well not nothing considering the literal nightmare and fall-out the last time, but that was an exception.
When I got on the bus everyone was staring at me, I suppose wondering if there was going to be a repeat of the last time. But after I settled in my seat I took the window side, nodded socially when the next person who got on sat next to me and stared out the window, wrote down some notes, and got off at my scheduled stop.
Lesson learned: It's not that difficult to be out and about (with a little push). Not getting so caught up in my mind makes things a lot easier, less stressful, and more functional.
